Show Your Reel Contest Guidelines
Media Xperiments is implementing the Show Your Reel 2010 Portfolio Contest across the state of Texas in Austin, San Antonio, Houston and Dallas. A key component to being successful in the creative world of media is developing and maintaining a good portfolio. A portfolio can be printed and/or electronic examples of your work that help potential employers or business partners understand the range of your talent and skills.
The Show Your Reel 2010 Portfolio Contest allows students to visit a variety of media related facilities and interact directly with media professionals while they work to develop their own portfolios. At the end of the tour series, students have their portfolios evaluated by local media experts and compete for scholarships, gear and intern opportunities.
