Media Xperiments (MX) is a social web portal and think tank for students, educators, parents and media professionals to develop better models of engagement. We offer a variety of workshops, tours, competitions, intern and portfolio development opportunities for diverse students and emerging professionals all over the world.

MX is adding many new members and will continue to grow by hundreds more in the coming weeks. We are expanding our direct outreach to students in greater Austin, Houston, Dallas and San Antonio, TX. With that in mind, we want to help you understand exactly how Media Xperiments works and how you can contribute to the community.

MX encourages positive interactions between our members. It is unacceptable to use or post inappropriate language, images, music, video and/or other types of media on the site. If you see inappropriate images or language, please notify us immediately and we will remove it and determine if further action needs to taken.

MX believes in mutual respect. We embrace people of all backgrounds regardless of race, color, ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation. Behavior such as cyber bullying or harassment is not acceptable. MX is not a dating site and we do not tolerate inappropriate advances between our members. What constitutes inappropriate behavior or images are the sole discretion of MX. Basically, if you wouldn’t feel comfortable showing it to your mother, don’t post it on the site.

So, if you have posted questionable or inappropriate material, please remove it immediately. Repeated attempts to post can result in your removal as a member of the site.
