For Students: Artist's Statement
I spend all day thinking up new and edgy concepts. I'm oozing with originality and I'm passionate about my work. I love trying new things and I’m open to new ideas. I can convey my ideas to others through my artistic skills.
I'm a skilled writer. My work has been praised me from time to time. I'm full of original ideas and I wish to collaborate with others to turn them into something more real.
I love video games, movies, and radio programs, because they all can be a medium for storytelling or a way to convey a concept or an idea.
I'd love the opportunity to work in any industry. I want to convey feelings, I want to send messages, provoke thought, and tell stories. I want to use anything I can as a medium for story telling. Whether it’s through long narratives or through just a simple picture. I've had ideas that would be best suited as cartoons, comic books, movies, or graphic novels.
I’d jump at the chance to work in any media related field.
All media protege candidates must have an Adviser (Adult who ensures your participation.) Please Provide their name and title.

Tell us something interesting about you.
I'm imaginative?
Bio:
I’m not the best in any of the media related fields I’ve chosen to pursue, but I get the job done. I’m experience in the fields of drawing and photography, and I can paint a pretty picture with words. I’m aware that being an experienced writer doesn’t help me much in this situation, but I feel as though it doesn’t hurt to mention it.
I take interest in video games that’s for the most part on the boarder of being an obsession. Though I currently lack any skills related to the occupation I wish to become a video game designer. I’m interested in the more creative side of video game production, such as the script, the story, character design, and possibly music composition. Other than primarily being a game, video games are also an effective medium for story telling. I wish to be like Goichi Suda, Shigeru Miyamoto, Peter Molyneux, or any other imaginative pioneer of the video game industry. I have new and inventive ideas for game play and interaction with the player. I’m also quite sick of every game’s protagonist being a disembodied arm holding a gun.
My passion for video games is rooted deep into my soul and is now an irremovable part of me. I’ve always loved video games and I will continue to feverishly love them even after it becomes socially acceptable. If given the chance to work in anything related to the creation of a video game I’ll give one hundred percent of my time and effort to it... Well, I will if it’s not Madden 2010 or any Wii shovel ware.

Things I enjoy photographing:
-Animals
-Nature
-Cosplay/Costumes

Things I enjoy drawing:
-Currently existing video game characters
-Original concpets
-Faces

Things I enjoy writing:
-Long, boring stories
-Philosophical rants

Have I already been working with MediaXperiments for a whole year?

Hey, being a Veteran Protege (I believe our pending title is Mentor) and all, Carl has asked me to write a little bit about my experience working with MX.

There are two things I’ve learned this past year working with MX; you’re never too young to start doing something, and you never know where y

Copyright: The fortress, the cracks, and what remains.

I’d just like to start off by thanking Mr. Vazquez for taking the time to tell my colleagues and I about copyright, fair use, and public domain. So, for all of you who were unfortunate enough to miss Mr. Vazquez’s presentation I’m going to give a brief summary of what I got out of it. I’m just going to explain what everything involving copyright and public domain is and why you should care about it. So, let’s get started, shall we?
Let’s say you just got done making something, maybe you made a s… Continue

Thursday, An Eventful Day Indeed.

Finally, some action! After a season of hibernation MediaXperiments is starting to stir once more. We’re getting back into the game, fast and hard. 3 days ago, August 6th, my colleagues and I faced a day fraught with perilous trials and insurmountable challenges. Well, it wasn’t exa… Continue

ScrewAttack Gaming Convention: The Power of Culture and Community!

Group shot of some g1's after the filming of Hard News on Friday.

So, MDC news is a little slow at the moment, we're just working on our ideas for commercials to promote Show Your Reel in the coming year. So how about I write an article about the ScrewAttack Gaming Convention… Continue

Media Pimps and Captain Crunch's Crack House!

(Great attention getter, huh? Think nothing of the title; it’s just a few quotes from Mr. Nalls mashed together.)
Well, another week, another meeting. This week, since we have no clients at the moment (Seriously, we could use some business, we're willing and able.) Mr. Settles decided… Continue
