Three games. Three starting quarterbacks. During the course of three weeks, head varsity football coach Howard McMahan dipped into his reserves twice as injuries plagued the offense.
In the season opener against Fredericksburg, Sept. 7, the Cougars suffered a major loss when senior Josh Hernandez tore his ACL in the fourth quarter.
First of all I would like to extend my gratitude to Mr. Carl Settles and the people behind the scenes who put these tours together for journalism students like me.
Well, we're halfway through February and have completed several tours in Austin and Houston. This past week, we visited MediaTech Insititute in Houston and had a hands on video workshop with AMS Pictures in Austin, TX. Shown here are students working both in front of and behind the camera as they learn how to work with green screens. Green screens are used all of the time in video and… Continue

On February 10,2010 a few students and myself went to AMS in Austin and we got to get a first hand experience of what they do. They gave us a tour of where they work and what they do. They help clients with anything from Commercial ads to Documentaries, they even have a set for live new covereges. They had a work shop there and they gave us a chance to work with them. We were put into teams of 4, someone had to direct it, someone else had to work the camera, someone had to control the audio, and… Continue

What other way would you plan to do a group project?
If we were to make a huge poster project then that might be good for a group, that way everyone ca… Continue
